It is not the literature or the publications that make the ministry. The most valuable resources for ministry are found in the people of the church and in the God-called men and women who serve her. Lead by the Holy Spirit of God, these will make a difference. |

Micah came to FBC Monroeville in August 2009, from Elkdale Baptist Church in Selma. Prior to that, he pastored FBC Butler and Sunny South Baptist Church. He was licensed to preach in 1995 and ordained in 1996 by Bethlehem Baptist Church in Linden, AL, which has been pastored by his father for over 20 years. He graduated from the University of Mobile and did graduate work at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
Micah is married to Cheryl, and they have four children: Caleb, Ashley Kate, Joshua, and Jacob.

Glenn Eubanks

Glenn Eubanks has served First Baptist Church in Monroeville since 1983. Originally joining the staff as Minister of Music and Youth, he now serves as Associate Pastor and Minister of Music. Glenn, a native of Alabama, is a graduate of Mobile College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree and has a Master of Church Music Degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Ordained by the Travis Road Baptist Church in Mobile, Alabama, Glenn served as Minister of Music and Youth at Travis Road before coming to First Baptist. Glenn also served Pine Grove Baptist Church, First Baptist Church Robertsdale, and First Baptist Church Theodore. He has actively served in many denominational positions such as membership in the Alabama Singing Men, serving as Associational Music Director, and judging of Associational and District Choral Festivals. Glenn has planned and been a part of many youth and adult mission trips and served as a leader during the Older Children's Music week at Shocco Springs Baptist Retreat Center. Glenn was also a member of the nationally known musical ensemble, TRUTH.
Glenn serves First Baptist through leadership in our Music Ministries as well as leading our Senior Adult programs and giving general oversight to many of our pastoral ministries. Glenn and his wife Sherri are known throughout our community for their involvement in school and civic activities. Glenn and Sherri have three sons. Matthew lives and works in Nashville, TN. Jonathan is married and is a student at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa and Joseph is a student at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. |

Jason Howell

Jason Howell is a native of Vidalia, Georgia. Jason is the only son of James and Joan Howell. Jason is a graduate of Vidalia High School and holds a Bachelor of Science from Troy State University. Jason is currently seeking a Masters of Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Before being called to First Baptist, he served as Student Minister at Mexia Baptist in Mexia, Alabama and Youth Director at Henderson Baptist Church in Henderson, Alabama. Jason was employed as the Assistant Director of Student Services at Troy State University. Jason and his wife, Jaime, have been married since December 1995, and they have one son named Hunter.
Jason accepted Christ at the age of twelve at Liberty Baptist Church his home church in Lyons, Georgia. Jason remained a member there until moving his letter to Henderson Baptist Church. Jason’s desire in Ministry is to help students come to a deeper love and knowledge of Jesus Christ. He is very passionate about worship and Bible study.
Jason also has the honor of serving as the Youth Committee Chairman for the Bethlehem Baptist Association. While serving as Chairman He has been able to organize three Association Youth Revivals as well as an Associational See You At The Pole Pre-Rally. Jason’s hobbies include playing guitar, playing sports, and refereeing High School football. Jason uses his music skills as the leader of APEX Worship Band. Jason and the band lead our weekly Youth Worship services at FBC and occasionally lead the Contemporary Service as well. APEX Worship Band travels throughout South Al, leading worship at various events.
